We have a Qualified Plumber position available at Day Break Plumbing.
Day Break Plumbing is a fast-growing plumbing service provider. We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier workmanship, quick emergency response times, and exceptional customer services. We are looking for a skilled, dependable and highly motivated Qualified Plumber to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, water heaters, drainage, and fixtures.
Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Inspect structures to identify and locate leaks, blockages, and complex technical system malfunctions.
Team Supervision: Lead and manage junior team members, apprentices, or assistants on-site when required.
Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and work accurately from wet services engineer’s architectural drawings and technical layouts.
Material Estimation: Accurately measure, specify out work requirements, and provide material lists and cost estimates for projects.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all plumbing work complies strictly with local plumbing codes and health and safety standards.
Requirements
Requirements & qualifications
Trade Qualification: Valid Red Seal Trade Certificate (Plumber) or relevant accredited trade qualification.
Professional Registration: Active registration with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) is highly preferred/advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification plumbing experience across commercial or residential settings.
Driver’s Licence: Valid, unendorsed Code B driver's licence is essential.
Tools: Possession of your own basic hand tools is advantageous.
Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, physical fitness, and professional communication skills in English.
Availability: Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours emergency repairs and overtime if needed.
