Responsibilities
. JOB PROFILE: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyse and interpret geological, exploration, sampling, and production data.
Conduct data validation, quality control, and statistical reviews.
Assist with monthly resource models and grade control models.
Identify trends, anomalies, variability, and potential risks within mining data.
Support Mineral Resource Management (MRM) processes and reporting.
Collaborate with geologists, mining engineers, surveyors, metallurgists, and other technical teams.
Develop statistical models and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
Ensure data and analyses comply with relevant industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate complex statistical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
C. SALARY:
Salary will be in accordance with the CAPM Tau Mine, Schedule of Salaries.
D. REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination of fitness as per the Mine's requirements.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
BSc Honours in Geology, Mathematics, Statistics.
3- 5 years' experience working with statistical analysis in the mining, geology, or mineral resources environment.
Strong knowledge of statistical and data-analysis methods.
Experience with statistical or geological software and data-management systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with geostatistical software will be advantageous.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary mining environment.
Knowledge of mineral resource estimation and QA/QC principles will be an advantage.
Experience in Mineral Resource Estimation & Classification.
