About the role

Responsibilities
Full accounting function up to Trial Balance and Management Accounts
Processing and reconciliation of:
Debtors
Creditors
Bank accounts
Cashbooks
General ledger
Preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements
VAT calculations, submissions, and reconciliations
EMP201, EMP501 and payroll reconciliations (if applicable)
Fixed asset register maintenance
Intercompany loan accounts and reconciliations
Assisting with audits and providing required supporting documentation
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
Implementing and maintaining strong financial controls
Supporting management with financial analysis and forecasting
Ad‑hoc financial tasks as required across multiple entities
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
B.Com Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
SAIPA / SAICA Articles completed or CIMA candidates wanting to complete practical’s
Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and manage the books of multiple companies
Strong attention to detail
Computerised Accounting experience in Pastel Accounting and MS Office
