Diesel Mechanic
About the role
We are seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic with a Red Seal and at least 2 years of post qualification experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, technically strong, and able to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and/or diesel vehicles
• Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Complete job cards accurately and maintain high-quality workmanship
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures
• Communicate effectively with the workshop team and customers when required
• Complete check lists and vehicle inspections
Requirements
🛠️ Minimum Requirements
• Red Seal Trade Test (Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic)
• 2+ years’ experience in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
