VACANCY: MINE MANAGER RUSTENBURG
Responsibilities
GENERAL DUTIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for the day to day management and operations of the mine within your area of responsibility.
Lead the team in the cost-effective optimization and extraction of the ore.
Ensure compliance in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Compiling monthly progressive plans.
Weekly production schedules of the pit and plant.
Responsible for leadership, communication and management.
Responsible for the pit design and scheduling activities.
Ensure discipline is maintained.
Ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 Appointee in terms of MHSA.
Degree in Mining Engineering.
Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
Opencast Blasting Ticket.
Eight (8) Years' experience in the Opencast mining industry.
Own transport with a valid driver's license is a requirement.
The successful candidate will be required to go for a medical assessment.
