About the role
Vision Meat — Vacancy: Forklift Driver
We are looking for a candidate who can work under pressure and long hours. The candidate will be responsible for delivering, moving, loading and unloading a variety of goods in warehouses. The candidate must have a valid forklift license.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Picking of all stock to be dispatched in a timely manner.
Offloading received stock.
Report damaged stock.
Making sure that in and outside of Mzanzi is clean as you go.
Making sure the "pallet area" is clean and neat at all times.
Check expiry dates and stock quality.
Help Fridge masters to put stock in and take stock out of fridges.
Manage Stock rotation.
Always keep in and outside of the fridge clean and neat.
Completing forklift checklists. Washing of forklift on a daily basis.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must be mathematical literacy and previous experience will be advantageous.
Proven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English & Afrikaans).
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and supervisors.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Physical strength and stamina.
Must have a valid Forklift license.
