Are you passionate about animal welfare and willing to learn? We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Training Inspector, with the opportunity to develop into a qualified Inspector.
Responsibilities
⚠️ Important to Note:
This is a demanding position that requires flexibility and commitment. The successful candidate must be available for alternating weekends, public holidays and after-hours standby duties on a rotating schedule.
As an animal shelter that relies on donations to operate, our salary packages are unfortunately limited by our available funding. Applicants should not expect high salaries but should be passionate about animal welfare and committed to making a difference.
Training and guidance will be provided, with the opportunity to grow into an Inspector position.

Requirements
📋 Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must have reliable transport to and from work.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Afrikaans and/or other languages will be an advantage.
- Must be responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
- Must have a genuine passion for animal welfare and be comfortable dealing with the public.
- Must be physically fit and prepared for hard, hands-on work.
- Must be willing to learn to handle aggressive and difficult animals when necessary.
