• The holistic care of older persons in an institutional context
• Critical attention to quality patient care
• Administrative responsibilities
• Professionally responsible and accountable
• Management of patient care and nursing staff
• Good clinical practice
• Strong leadership qualities
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Appropriate qualification and valid registration with the S.A.N.C.
• Must be able to work with the elderly
• Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Valid driver's license
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Knowledge of the scientific nursing process
• Knowledge of gerontology / geriatrics would be recommended
• Have thorough knowledge of medication
• Knowledge of Dementia/Alzheimer's
• Candidate should be younger than 60
