About the role
WE'RE HIRING
PRO|OP PRECISION CAD Operator Our company is looking for a CAD Operator to develop technical drawings of products using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD. After making a draft, you will submit it for approval and make any necessary revisions. You will also prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions before distributing the information to the appropriate external contractors and updating our internal database. Applicants should have a technical background in drafting or construction design and experience with CAD software
Responsibilities
CAD Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop technical drawings using CAD software
• Make revisions and obtain approval from the client
• Maintain a database of drawings
• Prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions
• Distribute drawings to internal departments
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Degree in drafting, additional courses in CAD software or equivalent job experience
• Practical experience with CAD software & knowledge of engineering
• A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, superb work ethic
