Responsibilities
JVR Water Consultants is seeking a driven and experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist to support a range of environmental authorisations, water use licensing, and sustainability projects across South Africa.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and compiling EIA applications, Basic Assessments, Environmental Management Programmes (EMPrs), and regulatory submissions, while engaging with authorities, specialists, and stakeholders.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Degree: Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: Experience in EIA and environmental consulting.
Legislation: Strong knowledge of NEMA, EIA Regulations, and environmental permitting processes.
Skills: Excellent technical report-writing and project management skills.
Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with government departments and stakeholders.
Licence & Travel: Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
