About the role
📌 Buyer – Branch in Rustenburg
NJR Steel is looking for a Buyer to join our Branch in Rustenburg . The Buyer position encompasses effective procurement of stock to ensure that the Company’s operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality, delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
✅ Purchase stock in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
✅ Capturing of stock onto the system and ensure that the descriptions are maintained.
✅ Continuous review of the Branches stock levels and replenishment needs.
✅ Prepare and Maintenance of Reports for Statistical & Management Purposes
✅ Maintain and Develop relationships with suppliers.
✅ Track prices, trends and review the impact on current stock cost, orders placed and price lists.
✅ Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
✅ Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the Organization.
✅ General Administrative duties

Requirements
Minimum Requirements ‼
👉 At least 3 Years’ Experience in Buying (Preferably in the Steel Industry).
👉 Excellent Computer Knowledge (Excel, Outlook and Syspro would be beneficial).
👉 Good Interpersonal Skills.
