JMG SA II Thutse, situated in the Makgope area in the (North West), is a progressive and innovative processing operation within the group focusses on Chrome recovery and processing. There is currently a vacancy for Logistics Supervisor in the Team. Logistics Supervisor Job Responsibilities:Reporting to the Logistics Specialist, the Logistics Supervisor analyse and optimise the logistics procedure.
Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators: Organising and managing inventory, storage and transportation Analysing and optimizing logistics procedures Supervision of TMM Operators and daily operational planning of shift Monitoring offloading and taking corrective action if required Ensure that team members are trained, manage time-keeping and disciplinary and performance management Ensuring that stockpiles are properly stacked for survey Coordinating Survey activities Oversee weighbridge operations Participate on rotational weekly standby Compile and communicate the off-loading reports to port and material warehouse Measure and report on the plant diesel availability and consumption Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations as per the MHSA and company policies and procedures If you have a strong sense of integrity, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail and thrive on seeing results after planning and organizing, then this may just be the opportunity for you. Requirements
Job Requirements:
N6 or National Diploma in Logistics, Completed N5 studying towards N6 will be considered
3 years Logistics experience in mining or heavy manufacturing environment, preferably at least 1-year supervisor experience
Code 8 Drivers license
Medically fit and prepared to work overtime and perform standby duties
